Client Brief

QualityTam is a video podcast created and hosted by Tamra Aragon, a mentor and leader for all ages. Her experience has been in Mentorship, Worship Leading and Teaching. Tamra has taught women in jail and prison, women’s groups, highschool and middle school students as well as coaching and developing worship teams in the state of NM and surrounding areas. She is a former Radio Show Host whose passion is to help people see life differently and encourage them not to be afraid or give up when life gets hard.

Over the years, Tamra has an adopted a greeting she uses often—“Hello, Sunshine!” This is a reflection of her cheerful, encouraging disposition and has become a tagline that will be used for the show.

Creative Objectives

When speaking with Tamra it became clear that her show would cover a range of heavy topics but would maintain an air of encouragement and love.

Of course, I knew I would use the iconography of the sun in the branding and a callback to Tamra’s favorite salutation.

I wanted the type to be playful and approachable. A viewer should feel as though they are going to get some life advice from a warm and trusted friend.

Balancing memorable and fun hues with a sense of calm and maturity has informed the color direction for the brand.

This project also have my the opportunity to play with motion graphics for the logo implementation.
