
Client Brief
Vivid (Previously the New Mexico Women’s Ministry Network) is a ministry dedicated to reaching women with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The client had recently renamed the ministry and was in need of a rebrand. The primary goal was to reach a wider age-range of women that previously.
Vivid wanted to inspire a new generation of believers without neglecting those who were established within the ministry.
The new brand should move away from the old stuffy look and welcome newcomers with open arms.
Creative Objectives
When illustrating the Vivid logo, I was inspired to create a brand mascot. The logo should be fun and approachable, but maintain an air of meek femininity.
If done correctly, the mascot would be friendly, and graceful. Modest jewelry and rosie cheeks make for an approachable look that celebrates simple femininity.
With a name like “Vivid” I knew bright color, tastefully employed, would be a huge win.
